      Chocolate-Dipped Cake Pops

1 Hr(s): Prep Time     1 Hr(s) 32 Min(s): Cook Time

What You Need

  1. pkg. (2-layer size) yellow cake mix
  2. pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
  3. container (16 oz.) ready-to-spread vanilla frosting
  4. pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S White Chocolate
  5. pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate
Let's Make It
  1.  Heat oven to 350ºF.
  2. Prepare cake batter and bake as directed on package for 13x9-inch cake, blending dry pudding mix into batter before pouring into prepared pan. Cool completely.
  3. Use pulsing action of food processor to process cake, in batches, until fine crumbs form. Place crumbs in large bowl. Add small amount of frosting; mix well with your hands. Mix in remaining frosting; roll into 40 (1-inch) balls.
  4. Cover baking sheet with parchment. Melt white chocolate in microwave as directed on package. Dip end of 1 lollipop stick into melted chocolate, then insert coated end halfway into 1 cake ball. Place on prepared baking sheet. Repeat with 19 additional lollipop sticks and 19 of the remaining cake balls. Dip balls, 1 at a time, in remaining melted chocolate; gently shake coated ball over bowl of melted chocolate to remove excess chocolate before returning cake ball to prepared baking sheet.
  5. Repeat with semi-sweet chocolate and remaining cake balls. Let stand 45 min. or until chocolate is firm.

Kitchen Tips
Tip 1
Note

You can also crumble the cake by using your hands. Put chunks of cake into large mixing bowl and use your hands to crumble it into fine crumbs. If you use this method, cut off and discard the hard edges of the baked cake before crumbling into crumbs.
                  Tip 2
Special Extra
Sprinkle coated cake pops with unsweetened cocoa powder, small candies, crushed cookies or chopped PLANTERS Nuts immediately after coating cake balls with the melted chocolate. If desired, add a few drops of food coloring to the melted white chocolate before using as directed.

How to make chocolate covered pretzels

Chocolate Covered Pretzels are sweet, salty, and crunchy, made with pretzel twists, melted chocolate and flaky sea salt. It’s the perfect holiday treat, or you can give them as gifts! Chocolate is its own food group in this kitchen, and we’ve been busy making all of our favorite desserts like Dark Chocolate Crinkle Cookies, Christmas White Chocolate Trash Snack Mix and Slow Cooker Chocolate Peanut Candy. CHOCOLATE COVERED PRETZELS Chocolate Covered Pretzels are one of my all-time favorite recipes to make for the holidays because they’re the perfect snack to wrap up as gifts. The pretzel adds a really nice crunch against the sweet candy, with some added flaky salt for a salty flavor. You can cover the pretzel in milk chocolate or white chocolate (or a combo of both). I like to use melting chocolate for this recipe, but I’ve also done this with chocolate chips leftover from making holiday desserts. This is a totally kid-friendly recipe, and the perfect way for them to have fun

How to make delicious hot chocolate...

Delicious Hot Chocolate.. Homemade hot chocolate is infinitely better than boxed mix. And our recipe is extra decadent, thanks to the cup of actual chocolate (not just cocoa powder). For a perfect cup of cocoa every time, here's what to remember.  Whole milk is preferable.  When you're drinking hot cocoa, you're most likely trying to be festive and cozy, not healthy. Go all out with whole milk. Remember, fat = flavor. If you only have skim or low-fat, don't worry. This recipe will still totally work.  Watch the milk!  If you walk away as it's coming to a simmer on the stovetop, it will likely boil over. Trust us, this has happened to us too many times to count.  Use your favorite kind of chocolate.  We're partial to semi-sweet (60% cocoa) or bittersweet (70%). But if you like your cocoa a little bit sweeter and creamier, feel free to use milk chocolate. We usually use chocolate chips because they're always in our pantry. But if you want t
